Light Cart : Easy Free PHP CCAvenue shopping cart
Light Cart is a light-weight e-commerce shopping cart application that links to the CCAvenue payment gateway. CCAvenue is India’s top payment gateway, but the support for it has not lived up to its status. This is my way of giving back to the Open Source e-commerce community.
Light Cart, currently in version 0.1 is an easy-to-use e-commerce shopping cart application. This version currently only works on CCAvenue. Future developments will link it to PayPal as well. CC Avenue was chosen to be the primary payment gateway because of the major demand for it in India.
The features of Light Cart are:
- Does not use a database
- All products and prices are mentioned in the HTML of the page itself
- Links directly to CCAvenue
- Uses only three credentials provided by CCAvenue
- Once an order is placed, the order details are stored in a downloadable Microsoft Excel 2003 format file
- Fully customizable appearance and functioning
- Very easy to install on your web site
- Uses popular technologies like PHP and jQuery
- Fast and easy integration
